I LOVE ANDREA ARNOLD!

Dear Cinephiles,

I have to confess that I truly love and admire Andrea Arnold. I saw her film Fish Tank in Cannes (2009). I was in Cannes to support Tarantino on his film Inglorious Bastards. I was also visiting tons of cinema friends from around the world... and wow when I saw this film Fish Tank I fell in love all over again - and only true cinephiles know what I mean by that. It truly touched me... and I've been intrigued with Andrea Arnold ever since. The star of the film was refreshing and Arnold's "no holds barred" approach harkened back to my childhood... Reminded me so much of my mother's approach to life and also reminded me so much of Eugene Smith and Larry Clark's approach to ART. As someone who is pretty much numb to cinema... Andrea Arnold's film gave me another life line, injected me with such vitality and spirit... I highly recommend Fish Tank (and all of Andrea Arnold's work) to all my friends and colleagues alike.

I sought out her short film WASP and I found out back then that it won an Oscar.

ITS FANTASTIC. LOOK AT THE LINK BELOW:

All I can say is that her short film is like a 3 course dinner at a fine restaurant. It had everything... it was complete and emotionally I felt satisfied. That is a deft defying act to do in our business and in the art form of true cinema. (I'm just saying that on a whim you know... any of my famous film critic friends can come on here and dispute freely.)

2011 by TIFFANY LIMOS

IN 2011 I SHOT A SHORT FILM ON LARRY CLARK. I'VE BEEN TOO BUSY WITH OTHER PROJECTS OVER THE YEARS SO I JUST FOUND TIME TO EDIT THE PIECE NOW. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THIS BLOG THE LAST ENTRY WAS FROM SEPTEMBER 2011 WHEN I WAS AT THE BOARDWALK EMPIRE PREMIERE... AND OF RECENTLY I STARTED POSTING MORE AND MORE ABOUT WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO SINCE 2011. MY PERSONAL INSTAGRAM AND TWITTER ACCOUNTS WERE HACKED INTO AND I HAD POSTED ALL ABOUT MY TRAVELS AND JOBS ON THOSE ACCOUNTS... SO FOR NOW I WILL BE REPOSTING EVERYTHING HERE.

LARRY WAS TRAVELING TO Le Festival de Cinéma de la Ville de Québec (FCVQ) ON BEHALF OF THE INVITATION OF CHRISTOPHER LEMONNIER (WHOM I KNOW WHEN HE USED TO WORK AT THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL). THERE WAS A LARRY CLARK RETROSPECTIVE AND OF COURSE I HAD MY CANON 5D HANDY. I WILL POST SOME FUNNY PHOTOS FROM THE EVENT SOON.

I WILL SHORTLY POST THE VIDEO SOON.

VIVA LARRY CLARK!

TIFFANY LIMOS X RAYA MARTIN = PHILIPPINES CINEMA POWER!

In 2012 I was flown to the Philippines by Raya Martin to be in his new film The Great Cinema Party. It was commissioned by the Jeon Ju International Film Festival. Its a very interesting film documenting the beginnings of Filipino cinema and weaving the newest stars of Filipino cinema within the structured limits of Raya's vision. If you LOVE Filipino cinema, this movie is for you! Here is the write up in Variety.com - the film is just released.

A really funny clip from Raya Martin's THE GREAT CINEMA PARTY!

L'Avenue Shanghai x TIFFANY LIMOS

I was told by the Creative Content Director, Anne Bourgeois-Vignon, of Nowness.com that for an upcoming project; as part of their marketing and PR activities they will be running a selection of NOWNESS films at a newly opened shopping mall in China, called L'Avenue Shanghai. They included my MICHEL GONDRY film I directed in this selection!

LVMH owns Nowness.com and they also own Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy among many other brands LVMH BRANDS LISTED HERE!

Its quite an honor to be chosen! Merci Beaucoup!

DON'T LOOK BACK (SHORT FILM) BY TIFFANY LIMOS

In 2013 Many of Them Magazine asked me to make a short film based on a Manifesto by Raya Martin. Raya Martin is the wunderkind of the Philippines. In very little time and at a young age has managed to conquer the international film festival circuit and turn cinema on its head. Of course I was honored. I was told that Raya picked out the chapter called DON'T LOOK BACK especially for me! I was floored because it was what I was feeling at the time.

There were other well known international filmmakers asked to join this project, I will find the names later... but my French DP Thomas Favel shot this. I wrote, starred in it but it was more like a fly-by-night kind of shoot. Its the story of my life in Paris in 2013 while I was living on place du Marché Saint Honoré in PARIS, FRANCE.

I was working on my book and a film for Arte Channel... and I was completely drained... I will post the film later. Here is a clip from the film for right now.

TIFFANY LIMOS X THIERRY FREMAUX

In honor of the Cannes Film Festival 2014... here is a photo with my good friend Thierry Fremaux... The Cannes Film Festival Director and Programmer. This photo is from when I was living in Paris in 2013. Thierry and I attended the premiere of Django Unchained with Quentin Tarantino.... and 3 days prior Quentin gave Thierry, Pierre Rissient, and myself a private screening of Django Unchained... #CinemaRoyalty

Oh, I forgot to mention that we all had dinner the night before the movie premiere... I think it was called Paris restaurant near the Ritz Carlton Hotel... and it was just a small dinner with Thierry and Quentin... and Roman Polanski showed up! It was a GREAT night... great food, wine, cinema talk, and great company!

MY BFF QUENTIN TARANTINO OF COURSE! (I took some cool video of Quentin at this event. I just have to put it online at some point when I am free.)

I also have some amazing photos of the Django Unchained Premiere... I have to sort through them and put them on here.

PIERRE RISSIENT - if you don't know who this man is, he discovered Lino Brocka, Jane Champion, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino... and many others... brought them to Cannes.... Famed and respected film critic Todd McCarthy has a great documentary on him called Man of Cinema.. watch it. PIERRE RISSIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MUCH CINEMA TODAY! LOOK HIM UP! HE IS MY FAMILY FRIEND, LOVE HIM!

YES I SHAVED MY HEAD! PUNK ROCK ALL THE WAY A$$H*L*S!

WHAT I WORE TO THE DINNER WITH THIERRY AND QUENTIN...

TIFFANY LIMOS WIKIPEDIA CHANGES...

Someone (annoying person) on Wikipedia keeps changing my information even though my manager and lawyer have written to Wikipedia managers about it. Its still a work in progress because I've done so much work in Asia, Africa, and Europe over the last 2 years... here is a draft... but there is alot more to add. I took the footnotes out, but all this information is referenced and published. I will add the links later.

==Early life==

Tiffany Limos was born in Dallas, Texas. Limos grew up in Mesquite, Texas and was raised in a videostore.

She worked at ''Visionaire'' and "V" magazine as a creative consultant at 19 years old in 1999. That same year Limos wrote a script for Larry Clark called ''American Girl From Texas'' that Clark has often cited as his dream project.

Limos made her acting debut in 2002 in the film ''Teenage Caveman'', a Quentin Tarantino favorite.

Throw back to Tarantino X Limos 2007

I found an old article about my trip to the Philippines with Quentin Tarantino (one of my bestfriends) and it was done by the Head of the Hollywood Foreign Press, Mr. Ruben Nepales... (a fellow Filipino). In this article you can read about my knowledge on Filipino cinema and Tarantino's same feelings. I do have a vast knowledge of Filipino cinema due to my father and mother... I will write more about that in detail in the future.... but this is a true find for all you CINEPHILES out there! READ ABOUT IT HERE -> -> -> TIFFANY LIMOS X QUENTIN TARANTINO 2007
